Jeweled Bobby Pin DIY Tutorial

Good Afternoon,
A few nights ago, I went to a Father-Daughter Dance with my dad. For my hairstyle, I did a quick twist and tuck braided updo.

To see how to do that yourself, (and I would advise you to, it is such a pretty hairstyle) click right HERE.
But I wanted something to literally make my hair sparkle. So, my mom and I went to Target to find some hair jewels. Unfortunately, Target did not have any hair jewels, so we found scrapbook jewels and made Jeweled Bobby Pins. I hope you have fun making these and sparkle a lot!

This Is How It Will Turn Out

Here's What You'll Need:
Hot Glue Gun
Your Favorite Comfy Bobby Pins
Scrapbook Jewels

Step 1. Place Bobby Pins On A Note Card(this will
help when gluing on the jewels)

Step 2. Take Your Jewel,

Then Flip It Over

Step 3. Put Less Than A Teeny Bit Of Hot Glue On Your Jewel

Step 4. Gently Place The Jewel On The Tip Of The Bobby Pin

Step 5. Now Let The Hot Glue Cool For About 5 Minutes.
Then Your Ready To Go!!!!

These bobby pins are perfect for any day. In fact, I am wearing these to school tomorrow!!!

Sparkling Raspberry Citrus Chiller

Hello,
Today I made a simple, but very easy breakfast for my family. I made biscuits, eggs, and a sparkling raspberry citrus chiller, which is what we are going to focus on.

Last night, I had my mind set on made some kind of sparkling juice.
So this is what I came up with:

Sparkling Raspberry Citrus Chiller

Ingredients:

1 fresh lime
1 fresh lemon
1 fresh orange
1 cup cold water
2-3 cups sparkling water
About 1 handful of fresh raspberries
2-3 tablespoons granulated sugar (This drink does not get very sweet)
A few mint or basil leaves (I suggest mint if you want a fresh summery taste, but really either are fine)

Directions*
1. Halve all friuts except raspberries
2. Juice or squeeze all of them into a pitcher
3. Add the water, then sparkling water
4. Add the washed rasperries and mint
5. Add the sugar and stir lightly
6. Serve with ice
7. Enjoy!

* You can let it sit for a little bit, but I suggest serving immediately because it will go flat over time

I am going to start asking you to email photos of you and the recipes you make from Mira's Munchie Ideas
Goodbye!!

Seashells

Hello!
I am sooooo sorry that I have not posted in a really LONG time. I am going to start posting twice a week. I am also going to turn this blog into a Photography blog AND a  food blog!!
So, that is what this post is going to be about. I Love taking pictures on my mom's camera and I am obsessed with it!
We went to the beach last week. My dad and I are shell hunters!! We probably found a million shells!!!! I am going to show you some pictures of the shells I took when we got home. All the photos I show you will be taken by me.
My brother and I made all the backgrounds
 All of the shells:)

One of my favorite pics :-)

So pretty!!

During the process, my adorable little brother, Sam came out in
his cowboy outfit asking if I would take his picture. He made up
the pose and everything! I think we have a little poser in the family :)

This is my mom's favorite shell and I see why...

Sam thought of this background. It is awesome!!

I love this one. It is a beauty!!!

Thanks for reading!
More to come later this week!!

The second thing is this: My mom manages her own blog, Mirabelle Creations( mirabellecreation.blogspot.com). Well, yesterday she let me design my own table. She made everything but I put them where I thought they needed to be. Here's how it turned out:
